It’s back to London’s lovely Royal Albert Hall tonight for David and the band after a short break.
Will you be there, too? If so, let us know.
When you get in, with the sights and sounds still swirling around your head, don’t forget: BBC2 at 11.30pm for the extended, hour-long Later… with Jools Holland. The songs are ‘Rattle That Lock’, ‘Today’ and ‘The Girl In the Yellow Dress’. (Don’t click those links unless you want to watch what is already available online, on the BBC iPlayer, from Tuesday’s live show. They always look and sound better on the telly, anyway.)
If you missed yesterday’s Latest News, you might not yet know that Rattle That Lock has now claimed the top position in the album charts in Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Turkey and the UK. Hurrah!
Which is just one teensy place higher than Australia, Austria, Canada, Croatia, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands and Switzerland, which was still excellent and only ever-so slightly better than Finland, where it reached No. 3, and Japan, where it got as far as No. 4, and Greece and the USA, where it peaked at No. 5.
All of these are brilliant chart positions, I’m sure you’ll agree. Thank you, everyone, for making this possible.
Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway and Slovakia, thank you also for making it your No. 1 on iTunes.
