Frenzied tweeting (sorry)

Sorry it had to be like this. It was the quickest way.

  1. Twittlog! 🙂 No worries FEd….

I’m very happy for American friends.

Also, what a location is the Hollywood Bowl!

  2. Glory, glory, hallelujah! 😀 Hope I can still get a ticket tomorrow!!!

Thanks for the info FEd! 🙂

  3. BIG dates in North America! I wonder if the larger venues in the UK will get the same experience next year…

    Awesome news all round!

  4. FEd,

Any info on ticket prices or the VIP packages for North America?

  5. Ticketmaster is a broken BOT system. Had absolutely no luck getting Paul McCartney tix through them for the closing of Candlestick in SF and had to rely on third party solutions. Good luck to everyone involved!! Erin and I will attempt the Hollywood Bowl show. . .

  6. Wow…had a feeling that tickets would drop soon. Just really bummed out that there is no presale as many times the “brokers” here get the better seats and true fans get locked out. Just hoping to get in the building for NYC.

Good luck everyone with getting tickets tomorrow!!!!

  7. Good luck tomorrow to our US and Canadian friends, I think it won’t be easy to get tickets.

I like the cover artwork. It gives all the meaning (I mean ‘il donne tout son sens’) to the title ‘Rattle That Lock’, the dark clouds insisting on the fact that it’s never easy to do so… ‘Briser les chaînes’, looking for any form of freedom is never easy but makes your stronger (like these birds).

Hoping people will understand what I mean despite the crap English.

  8. I just shit myself with excitement, and I’m OK with that. Quite liberating really.

Well, needless to say I’ll be trying to score some U.S. Tix wherever the heck I can!!! Whether I do or not i’D be happy to join-in on an old-fashion DG Blog Pre-Concert Meet-up in NYC! With a clean pair of pants hopefully. 🙂

    1. Angelo – mi casa es su casa if you can’t get MSG tickets and can get TO tickets…. Damn, I just shat myself as well…

      1. Then I’ll keep you posted! We may end up shitting our pants together in Toronto.

  9. It’s good news there is no pre-sale as that levels the playing field for everyone.

  10. Feckin’ (can we say feck? ah feck it!) birds again!

    Album cover looks pretty.

Gagging to hear that track tomorrow! Great news all round.

Good luck with ticket acquisition you lot in the states. 🙂

  11. Great to see there is a Toronto show (too bad not back at Massey Hall again) but a little sad that there will not be a pre-sale.

With Ticketmaster getting good seats is a crapshoot at best.

Last week I tried to get Mark Knopfler tickets but it was sold out as soon as they went on sale.

  12. I’m very excited about the shows but extremely disappointed David chose not to do a pre-sale which has become pretty standard for most bands these days. I hope he will take a minute this weekend and log onto stubhub to see what his fans are going to have to pay to get a decent seat as ticket brokers will dominate the buying tomorrow. Hopefully in doing so he might choose a more fan-friendly approach should he decide to do any further shows.

That all said, I can’t wait to see him over here!

  13. My smile for America and Toronto: it’s slipped the bonds of my face and is somewhere up in orbit!

God’s guitarist is on the move!

  14. I had better luck in the past using the Ticketmaster app instead of the normal website – so you may want to try that to maximize your chances. Or use both at the same time.

    Good luck everyone!

    1. If you’re really skilled you can try the dial in number as well. In fact, I wonder if calling in would work better considering that most typically utilize the web.

  15. Well ticket prices are posted and there is some info on the VIP package except for the most important aspect. It doesn’t state the cost for a VIP package!!
